Redfish from rats,( generally redfish under 18″) to upper slots can be found munching on crustaceans and the like near mangrove shorelines and oyster bars near deep drop-offs. They will stage just outside the eddys or facing the tide on either side of oyster bars depending on the direction of flow. There they will await easy prey.
